The Mid-Michigan Manufacturers Association (M3A) is committed to strengthening the future of manufacturing by supporting the next generation of talent.
Through the M3A Scholarship Program, we invest in students, employees, and families connected to our industry—helping remove financial barriers and encouraging careers that support manufacturing across Mid-Michigan.
Each year, M3A awards:
- Up to three (3) scholarships
- $3,000 per recipient
- Funds issued directly to the student and their educational institution
These scholarships are designed to support individuals pursuing education and training that align with careers in manufacturing and related fields. Applications are open from April 21 – May 31
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Be an employee or immediate family member of an M3A member company OR be a student attending school in one of the following counties:
Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland, or Saginaw
Additional requirements:
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Planning to enroll or currently enrolled in:College or university programs
- Trade or vocational schools
- Registered apprenticeship programs
M3A scholarships are awarded based on more than academics. We’re looking for individuals who:
- Demonstrate an interest in manufacturing, engineering, or skilled trades
- Show a clear connection between their education and career goals
- Reflect M3A’s mission of strengthening the manufacturing industry
- Share how this scholarship will support their personal and professional journey
